Gold prices edged
down in four sessions on Thursday, as the U.S. dollar
regained strength ahead of key U.S. economic data due later in the
day. On the COMEX,gold futures for August delivery shed $3.30,
or 0.28%, to trade at $1,183.30 a troy ounce during European
morning hours. MCX Gold is trading today 26892.00 with 0% change.

Spot silver prices
rose by 0.2 percent to close at $16 in line with strength in gold
prices. Dollar weakness by half a percent and strength in the base
